LK International has a strong commitment to the protection of the environment. As an importer and distributor, the company incorporates products that comply with international standards of creating environmentally sustainable building solutions, with an International Certification ISO 14001 version 2004.

As a member of EcoSpecifier the company continues to raise awareness by communicating environmental standards to customers and clients. LKInternational complies with existing environmental regulations and is a member of Green Building Council Australia.

LK International is driven by the principle of responding to increased awarenes of reducing the impact on the environment by improving industry standards and implementing environmental management systems, as well as training of staff on environmental issues. LK Inetrnational has implemented a responsible waste management system by recycling all packaging. The company will continue to monitor and improve our performance in regards to recycling and the conservation of water and energy.

Polyrey factories are PEFC certified for the supply of core board. PEFC is a trademark guaranteeing that the woods used in the manufacturing process are sourced from sustainable forests.

Recycling has been standard practice for a number of years in all areas. 80% of waste products are either converted into energy or recycled by specialised companies: the re-use of pallets, recycling of paper, cardboard and plastic, resale of scrap metal.
